We’ve all been there—staring at life, wondering what on earth we’re supposed to do next. The plans we made fall apart, the path we thought was clear suddenly turns foggy, and we’re left whispering, “God, I don’t know what to do.”
And in that quiet moment, before panic takes over, He whispers back, “I’ll direct your steps.” (Psalm 37:23)
That’s the beauty of faith—it’s not about having all the answers; it’s about knowing Who does.
When we say, “I’m so overwhelmed,” He doesn’t rush us to toughen up. He simply says, “Come to Me, and I’ll give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) There’s no expectation to fix everything or keep spinning your wheels. Just rest. Breathe. Let Him carry what you were never meant to hold alone.
When we say, “I’m unable,” He says, “I’m able.” (Matthew 11:29) It’s almost like He’s smiling gently, reminding us that our weakness is not a limitation—it’s an invitation. Because it’s in those moments of inability that His strength steps in and fills every gap we can’t.
When we say, “This seems impossible,” He says, “All things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Not some things, not easy things—all things. Even the ones that don’t make sense, the ones that hurt, the ones we’ve already given up on.
And when fear creeps in—the kind that paralyzes and whispers, “What if this all goes wrong?”—God says, “That fear isn’t from Me.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Because His presence never brings fear; it brings power, love, and peace that no circumstance can shake.
Maybe the truth is simple: every “I can’t” we whisper is met with a “But I can” from Him. Every doubt we speak is answered by a promise already written.
So the next time you’re standing in the middle of uncertainty, don’t let the noise of your thoughts drown out His voice. Let His words be louder. Let His truth rewrite your fears.
Because when you don’t know what to do, God already does. And that’s more than enough.
